Steven Glanz |
Steven is one of Australia's most senior M&A lawyers. He leads Baker & McKenzie's Corporate Practice Group in Australia, is Chairman of Baker & McKenzie's Asia Pacific M&A Committee and a member of its Global M&A Steering Committee.
Steven is consistently recognised as one of Australia's best M&A lawyers. He has worked on a number of Australia's leading transactions and is a specialist in cross-border merger activities.
Steven's recent transaction experience includes: advising Asahi Breweries, Ltd on its A$1.2 billion acquisition of the Australian Schweppes business from Cadbury Plc; advising New Hope Corporation Limited on the A$2.45 billion sale of the New Saraji Coal Project to the BHP Billiton Mitsubishi Alliance; acting on the takeover of Mayne Pharma by Hospira, Inc for A$2.2 billion; and advising IBA Health Limited on its takeover bid for London-listed iSOFT Group Plc.
Steven joined Baker & McKenzie in 1978, and was Managing Partner for Australia from 1991 to 1995. Steven has spent a number of years working in the Firm's New York office. Steven has also completed an LLM at Columbia University, New York.
