Rob Jesudason |
Rob Jesudason is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse and Head of Financial Institutions coverage for Asia Pacific in the Investment Banking Division, based in Hong Kong. His group is responsible for investment banking coverage of banks, insurance companies, securities firms, asset management companies and stock exchanges in non-Japan Asia, providing such clients with M&A, equity capital markets and financing advice.
Jesudason joined Credit Suisse in 2007 from JP Morgan, where he was a Managing Director in the Asian special situations group responsible for investments in financial services. Prior to this, Jesudason worked at Barclays PLC as Global Head of Corporate Development. While at Barclays, the Absa transaction was voted Global Bank deal of the year by Retail Banker Magazine.
Earlier in his career, Jesudason worked at GE Capital both in their European and Japanese M&A teams and within their Insurance business. He was an Associate Principal in McKinsey's Corporate Finance and Strategy practice.
In 2008, Jesudason's group at Credit Suisse was awarded Financial Advisor of the Year for Asian Financial Institutions by the Financial Times/Merger Market Awards and Best Hong Kong Deal of the Year by The Asset Magazine for the Wing Lung transaction.
Jesudason holds a Bachelor of Science in Managerial and Administrative Studies from Aston University in Birmingham, UK.
