Patrick is the Joint Head of the Asian Industrials Group and Head of the Investment Bank’s Natural Resources team at UBS Investment Bank in Asia.  He has been based in Hong Kong for the past 2 years and prior to that was based in New York and Australia with UBS.  Previously Patrick also worked with BHP Billiton as both a lawyer and an industrial chemist and with Australian law firm Blake Dawson.

Having worked in the natural resources industry all his life, Patrick has accumulated extensive experience in cross border mergers and acquisitions in many countries in North and South America, Asia, Australia and Europe.  He has raised capital for companies in the markets in China, US, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Hong Kong and Indonesia. He is currently involved in a number of cross border M&A deals in the Asian resources sector. He recently advised Minmetals on its successful acquisition of OZ Minerals assets. He has been involved in the IPO of China Molybdenum, ITM, Zhaojin, Western Mining and a number of IPOs currently in the pipeline in China, Mongolia and throughout Asia. Patrick is an adviser to, and has advised many of the major mining house such as BHP Billiton, Vale, Rio Tinto, Alcan and WMC Resources.
