Hwee Chua is a Tax Partner in Deloitte & Touche LLP, specialising in corporate income tax and international tax. He has more than 15 years of experience in serving local companies and multinational corporations. His previous experience includes 2 years with the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore.

Hwee Chua has substantial experience in advising multinational corporations on a wide variety of corporate tax planning projects, including corporate structuring and restructuring, international mergers and acquisitions, structuring of inbound and outbound investments, and international tax in general. His clients come from various industries including financial services, manufacturing, energy and resources, technology, media and telecommunication, and real estate.

Hwee Chua is a frequent speaker at seminars and is the author of several articles on taxation that have been published in academic journals, including International Tax Review and Tax Planning International Review.

Hwee Chua holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (first class honours) degree from Nanyang Technological University.
