Sutha Kandiah is a 10 year UBS veteran with over 14 years of experience in investment banking. During his career, he has had the unique experience of having lived and worked in Singapore, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Sydney – all the major APAC financial centres.
Currently, Sutha is the Co-Head of Investment Banking for Singapore and Malaysia, and Co-Head of Equity Capital Markets for Asia. He is the only senior banker in UBS to hold two senior leadership roles in South Asia. Prior to his current roles, he was Head of Equity Capital Markets for Japan between 2006 and 2008, Head of Equity Capital Markets for South East Asia (SEA) between 2004 and 2006, based in Singapore and Head for TMT Investment Banking (SEA) between 2002 and 2004, based in Hong Kong.
