Ashok is a Managing Director and Co-Head of Equity Capital Markets in Asia, managing a team of over 24 professionals. Ashok is currently based in Hong Kong and has over 17 years of experience in the Asian equity capital markets. He is a member of the Global Banking Executive Committee and Global Markets Equities Executive Committee in Asia. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank in 2005, Ashok was responsible for Equity Capital Markets for ABN AMRO Rothschild in Hong Kong.
Key transactions across the region that Ashok has worked on include: US$4.3b State Bank of India Rights Offering, US$2.3b DLF IPO, US$2.2 bn Reliance Petroleum IPO, US$2bn Petrochina follow on offering, US$2bn Infosys Sponsored ADR offering, US$1.4bn Rights Offering for Axiata, US$ 1bn Kepco Convertible Bond, US$983m Thai Beverage plc IPO, and US$850m Khazanah Exchangeable Bond.
Ashok has a MBA degree from the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, India and an Engineering Degree from University of Delhi, India.
