ABOUT
The Asia Investment Banking Conference (AIBC) is potentially the largest student-organised event in Asia focused on the corporate finance industry
It was initiated by students from The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and the Singapore Management University (SMU) in 2009
350 of the brightest and most talented students from approximately 40 renowned universities across the globe, and senior professionals representing various prominent organisations within the financial services industry, will participate in keynote speeches, panel discussions and interactive workshops
It is scheduled to take place over two days, on 23-24 September 2009, at the SMU campus in Singapore
OBJECTIVES
To establish the LSE and SMU as leading academic institutions in Finance, Business and Economics
To promote the development of the financial services industry in Asia by providing a platform for senior professionals and students to discuss critical issues and industry trends
To facilitate the exchange of corporate finance strategies employed in Asia by industry experts
To provide networking opportunities between the most accomplished finance professionals and the brightest talents in university
